Matali Equine is currently only accepting students that own their own horse or clients that would like to purchase a horse in the near future. It is an exciting time to get into the horse industry! I love helping people find the horse of their dreams and get going in a riding program!
Using Your Own Horse for Lessons: We are currently accepting lesson clients that either board their horse(s) at Matali Equine or haul in their own horse for lessons. Also offering a limited amount of lessons off site. Please email or call for more information.
Cancelation Policy: Clients must give at least 24 hours notice before a lesson or no make-up time will be made. Make-up lessons must be used within 30 days of the cancelled lesson.
Lesson Programs Available
MATALI Equine has a variety of lesson types available. These include reining, ranch riding, western pleasure, western dressage, pleasure riding, trailing riding, problem solving, liberty training, rehabilitation and much more. We have started a Ranch Riding group in Winter 2023. This group was formed to challenge horse and rider to prepare for showing in a variety of disciplines but focusing on Ranch Riding and pattern work.
Matali Equine can also offer participants the Equine Canada (EC) Learn to Ride program as a part of their lesson program. The EC developed Learn to Ride Program is for individuals who wish to learn safe horsemanship skills and practices. The purpose of the program is to produce well-rounded horsemen, who are able to care for and ride their horses in a correct and safe manner. The Learn to Ride Program provides a systematic process to introduce new riders to equestrian sport and presents the basics of good riding.
